Reviews
“Jamieson's masked corvid is a speaker in riddles and an omen of ill fortune, given voice by Jeff Corness's electronic score and body by Jamieson herself. Working at first with her back to the audience, Jamieson embodied spooky forest spirits with movement that recalled North Coast memories of Bokwus, the wild guardian of the woods, as well as the Hellenic martial arts depicted on ancient urns. Short and concentrated, Crow showed that Jamieson the performer remains as much of an individual—and as much of an athlete—as she was when she made her choreographic debut.”
